Hello and welcome to Part II in this weeks series of articles on VIV China 2012. Today we’ll be looking at some of the exhibitors and sharing their experiences with you as well as our own as an important media coverage provider for the event.
VIV China 2012 welcomed delegations from amongst others, the Middle East, Russia and Southeast Asia. Exhibitors were full of praise about the new approach and of course it was a chance for Chinese exhibitors to boost their international profile.
First we heard from Richmon Hess of British Diamond Engineering who said he was “overwhelmed by the response to [our] stand. We believe that the VIV China exhibition has helped the marketing of our Evolution Automated Chick Vaccinator and Automist Spray Vaccinators exponentially.”
There seemed to be an extra interest in feed and meat, which is VIV’s tried and tested formula. Motomi Yang of eFeedLink Pte Ltd speaks highly of both the exhibition and the congresses he said, “VIV China is a professional Feed to Meat trading platform organised with international standards… The International China Summit sets the standard for conferences, with well-organised and enriching sessions for both Chinese and international attendees.”
Mr Yangs sentiments were shared by our delegates from Perendale Publishers who managed to catch up with so many of you at the event whilst also representing our three major publications (including the IMD), for which they received fantastic feedback.
In an interview with Jo du Toit from Technical Systems from Cape Town we found out just what this event meant to them when she said, “VIV China is vital for interaction with old and new customers especially for building and strengthening relationships. It remains an absolute must trade show, for any company that wants to keep up with market conditions. We thank all our customers and visitors whom visited our booth and we are honoured to be part of the VIV success.”
I think that the overall good vibe surrounding this years success was encapsulated by Patent Co. who have become a regular visitor after three VIV events. The company is now preparing for VIV Asia in Thailand in 2013 according to company spokesperson Milinko Canovic who said, “Our experience exceeded our expectations, as this was the first time we presented Patent co. products in China. We are impressed with the choice of exhibitors, and the number of visitors we had at our booth. Contacts we made were excellent, and they make us optimistic regarding the expansion of Patent co. business in South-East Asia.”
